What do you get when you bring together the friendliest hotel in Swaziland and one of the biggest international superstars? An absolute thrill-fest thats what!

On the 19th of July, Piggs Peak casino was one of the main sponsors of one of musics brightest stars; US rapper The Games Swazi leg of his LAX World Tour, an event deemed a true celebration of life, love and music.

The music festival was held in the heart of the hub of Swaziland; at the Mavuso Trade Centre and saw music-lovers from across all demographics converge at the spacious arena for the Grammy award nominated rappers extra-ordinary live performance.

The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, which garnered him two Grammy award nominations.

He is considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip-hop scene into the mainstream and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts and has collaborated with many prolific artists including songstress Keisha Cole and 50 Cent.

The family-friendly outdoor afternoon concert also saw performances from celebrated South African and Swazi talent; including Hip-hop group Jozi, J.R, Theo and songbird Lando, who all warmed up the excited crowd before the rapper mounted the stage.

As soon as the rapper appeared on stage, microphone in hand, the arena erupted in a loud chorus of cheers, as excited fans rushed to the front of the stage to witness the artists one and a half hour set. And boy did he perform! Hit after hit, his fans were with him all the way, singing, cheering and shouting in truly spectacular fashion.

The down to earth rapper, who seems to have thoroughly enjoyed his stay in the beautiful kingdom, also enjoyed the goodies the friendly Piggs Peak casino team had prepared for him.

"Thank you for the beautiful gifts. I appreciate the fact that they truly come from the hearts of the Swazi people" he said, speaking to the Piggs Peak team.

Piggs Peak is honored and proud to have been part of the only African stop in the rappers 2009 LAX World Tour.
